Microwave Porridge
Basic Microwave Porridge Recipe

Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix. Microwave the porridge for two minutes at 800 watts.

Stir the porridge and check the consistency. If the porridge is too runny, microwave it for another 15 to 30 seconds. If it's too thick, add a little more milk or water.

Serve porridge with your choice of toppings.
Microwaved Egg Porridge

Mix the oats, salt and cinnamon with about two-thirds of the milk and microwave for 90 seconds at 800 watts.

Whisk the egg, or separate the egg white from the yolk. Remove the porridge from the microwave, add the remaining milk and stir to cool it down. Stir the egg or egg white into the porridge.

Microwave the porridge for another 60 (to 90) seconds at 600 watts. Serve with your choice of toppings.
