Tips & Tricks (5)
- Mint Chocolate Melting Magic 🍫Use a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals to melt Andes mints and white chocolate chips, stirring frequently to prevent burning and ensure smooth consistency.
- Powdered Sugar Coating Technique 🍬Use a large zip-top bag or sturdy container with a tight-fitting lid for coating the Chex cereal, ensuring even distribution of powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
- Chill for Crisp Texture ❄️After coating, spread the Muddy Buddies on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to help the chocolate set and create a satisfying crunch.
- Prevent Clumping Pro Tip 🥄Sift the powdered sugar and cocoa powder together before coating to eliminate lumps and create a more uniform, smooth exterior on your Muddy Buddies.
- Flavor Intensity Hack 🌿For an extra mint punch, finely chop additional Andes mints and sprinkle them over the finished Muddy Buddies just before serving.
