Instructions
1
|
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) using conventional oven settings (top and bottom heat). Line a small, approximately 20 x 20 cm (8 x 8 inch) casserole or baking dish with parchment paper.
2
|
Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a food processor. Add peanut butter, milk, agave syrup, sugar, and vanilla extract, and blend until smooth.
3
|
Place the mashed avocado in a bowl and mix with the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until a smooth batter forms. Stir in the chocolate and transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan, smoothing the surface.
4
|
Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake the brownies for 25 minutes.
5
|
Let the brownies cool completely before serving, or even better, refrigerate them for at least an hour. Then, carefully lift them out of the pan using the overhanging parchment paper and cut them into 9 to 12 equal squares.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Avocado Ripeness Matters 🥑Use perfectly ripe avocados that are soft but not brown - this ensures a smooth, creamy texture and prevents graininess in your brownies.
- Chocolate Melting Magic 🍫Melt dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each to prevent burning and ensure a silky smooth consistency.
- Moisture Mastery 💦Blitz the avocado and peanut butter together first to create a ultra-smooth base that guarantees maximum moisture and prevents any lumpy texture in the brownies.
- Flour Sifting Technique 🧐Always sift the whole wheat flour and cocoa powder together to eliminate clumps and ensure a light, even distribution throughout the batter.
- Cooling Perfection ❄️Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan for at least 30 minutes before cutting to help them set and prevent crumbling.
