Instructions

In a small saucepan over medium heat, mix together the peanut butter and honey. Stir continuously until fully combined, about 2 minutes. Add in the Cheerios and mix to cover the cereal fully in the peanut butter mixture.

|
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper OR use a muffin tin like I did in my photos/video. I used a silicone mold so I didn’t line it but feel free to do so! Add the mixture into the tray (I only filled up 9 of the muffin cavities) and press down firmly. Place in the fridge.

|
Meanwhile, chop the chocolate and melt it in a bowl in the microwave in 20 second increments, stirring in between.
4
|
Remove the tray from the fridge and divide the chocolate evenly among the Cheerio cups, being sure to spread it out evenly on the top. Chill until the chocolate is set and ENJOY!

I stored these at room temperature but if you don’t plan to eat them within a few days, I suggest keeping them in the fridge/freezer.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Temper Your Chocolate Properly 🍫Melt chocolate over a double boiler or in 30-second microwave intervals, stirring between each, to prevent seizing and ensure a smooth, glossy coating that sets beautifully.
- Toast Your Cheerios First 🥣Lightly toast the Cheerios in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes before mixing to deepen their flavor and reduce sogginess by removing excess moisture.
- Warm Your Peanut Butter & Honey 🥜Gently warm the peanut butter and honey together for 30 seconds to create a perfectly pourable consistency that coats the Cheerios evenly without clumping.
- Chill in Stages for Perfect Texture ❄️Refrigerate the assembled bars for 15 minutes before adding chocolate, then another 30 minutes after—this prevents the bars from cracking and helps the chocolate set with a satisfying snap.
- Use Parchment for Easy Release 📋Line your pan with parchment paper overhang on two sides so you can easily lift out the entire slab and cut cleanly without sticking or mess.
