Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup - creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup - honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cups - Cheerios
  • 3 ounces - dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, mix together the peanut butter and honey. Stir continuously until fully combined, about 2 minutes. Add in the Cheerios and mix to cover the cereal fully in the peanut butter mixture.
  2. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper OR use a muffin tin like I did in my photos/video. I used a silicone mold so I didn’t line it but feel free to do so! Add the mixture into the tray (I only filled up 9 of the muffin cavities) and press down firmly. Place in the fridge.
  3. Meanwhile, chop the chocolate and melt it in a bowl in the microwave in 20 second increments, stirring in between.
  4. Remove the tray from the fridge and divide the chocolate evenly among the Cheerio cups, being sure to spread it out evenly on the top. Chill until the chocolate is set and ENJOY!
  5. I stored these at room temperature but if you don’t plan to eat them within a few days, I suggest keeping them in the fridge/freezer.
