Tips & Tricks (5)
- Chill Your Almond Butter First 🧈Refrigerate the almond butter for 30 minutes before mixing to prevent the balls from becoming too soft and sticky, making them easier to shape and roll.
- Plump Your Raisins with Warmth 🌱Soak raisins in warm water for 5 minutes before adding to the mixture to hydrate them and intensify their natural sweetness, eliminating the need for extra maple syrup.
- Toast the Oats for Deeper Flavor 🔆Lightly toast the quick oats in a dry skillet for 2-3 minutes before mixing to enhance their nutty notes and add complexity that complements the cinnamon and maple.
- Use Flaky Salt for Textural Contrast ✨Apply flaky sea salt as a finishing sprinkle on top of each ball rather than mixing it in, allowing the salt crystals to provide a delightful textural crunch and amplify sweetness perception.
- Freeze Before Serving for Best Texture 🧊Freeze the finished balls for at least 2 hours before serving to achieve a firm, fudgy texture that holds together better and provides a more satisfying bite-through experience.
