No-Bake Reindeer Bites
Instructions
1
Place the oats in a food processor or blender and pulse until finely ground.
2
In a mixing bowl, stir together the peanut butter and honey.
3
Add the ground oats to the peanut butter mixture and continue to stir until thoroughly combined.
4
Using 2 tablespoon of the mixture at a time (I like to use a mini ice cream scooper), roll into balls.
5
Cut small pretzels in half to use for the reindeer antlers.
6
Decorate with candy eyes, red candies for the nose and pretzel antlers. Place the eyes close together for a super cute face.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Chill Your Mixture 🧊Refrigerate the peanut butter-honey mixture for 15-20 minutes before rolling into balls—this prevents sticking and creates uniform, easier-to-handle bites with better structure.
- Toast Your Oats First 🥣Lightly toast the old-fashioned oats in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes before mixing to enhance their nutty flavor and add depth to your reindeer bites.
- Crush Pretzels Strategically 🥨Leave pretzel pieces in varied sizes (some whole, some chunky) rather than fine crumbs—this provides better texture contrast and prevents the bites from becoming too dense.
- Use Melted Chocolate Smartly 🍫Slightly warm your red chocolate candy pieces (not fully melted) before attaching antlers and eyes so they adhere securely without being so hot they damage the peanut butter base.
- Prep Decorations in Advance ✨Have all pretzel antlers, candy eyes, and red nose pieces pre-separated and organized before assembly—this speeds up the decorating process and keeps the bites from warming up or losing their shape.
