Ingredients

  • 3 loaves - Sandwich bread
  • 12 tablespoons - Butter
  • 4 - Onions
  • 1 bunch - Celery
  • 2 tablespoons - Dried sage
  • 4 teaspoons - Poultry Seasoning
  • ½ cup - Turkey broth, or chicken broth
  • ¼ tsp - Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cut bread into one inch cubes and allow to sit out and dry, preferably over night. Or you could toast them in a 300℉ oven for 20 minutes.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet.
  4. Add onions, celery sage and 2 teaspoons of Poultry Seasoning.
  5. Saute until vegetables are translucent and tender.
  6. Add dried bread to a large mixing bowl. Add onion mixture to bread cubes and stir to combine.
  7. Add broth, remaining Poultry Seasoning and salt and pepper; stir to combine.
  8. Place stuffing in prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Stuffing can also be placed inside the turkey cavity and roasted with your turkey.
