Add dry pasta and stir to coat in garlic butter.
5
Pour in chicken stock and bring to a simmer. Season with the same spices used on the chicken.
6
Add heavy cream and stir. Cook for 8–10 minutes, until pasta is nearly done.
7
Add broccoli to the pot and continue cooking until broccoli is tender and pasta is fully cooked.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Cube Your Chicken for Even Cooking 🍗Cut chicken breasts into uniform 1-inch cubes rather than leaving them whole—this ensures even cooking throughout and allows them to absorb the creamy sauce better while reducing cooking time.
- Toast Your Pasta First 🍝Lightly toast the dry pasta in the pot with butter and garlic for 2-3 minutes before adding liquids to develop a deeper, more complex nutty flavor that elevates the entire dish.
- Temper Your Cream Mixture 🧈Before combining heavy cream and cream cheese with hot stock, warm them separately or add them slowly off-heat to prevent curdling and ensure a silky, smooth sauce.
- Add Broccoli Late to Preserve Texture 🥦Stir in broccoli florets in the final 4-5 minutes of cooking so they remain crisp-tender rather than mushy, providing a pleasant textural contrast to the creamy pasta.
- Finish with Cold Butter for Richness ✨After turning off heat, stir in a knob of cold unsalted butter to create an ultra-silky, glossy sauce with enhanced mouthfeel that surpasses using cream alone.
