
Oreo Donuts
These Oreo donuts are soft, fluffy and so delicious! They taste exactly like Oreos with a creamy vanilla frosting. These are so fun for breakfast, brunch or dessert. Kids love them! They are quick and easy to make. The frosting is only 3 ingredients and takes 2 minutes to whip up!

Ingredients
- 1 - egg
- ½ tsp - vanilla extract
- ¼ cup - sour cream
- 3 tablespoons - unsalted butter
- ½ cup - flour
- 2 tablespoons - black cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons - Oreo crumbs
- ⅓ cup - light brown sugar
- ¼ tsp - baking powder
- ¼ tsp - baking soda
- 1 pinch - sea salt
- 1 tbsp - butter
- 1 tbsp - milk
- ¾ cup - powdered sugar
Instructions
- First, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Generously spray a donut pan with nonstick spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, add egg, vanilla extract, sour cream and melted butter. Use electric hand mixer to beat together.
- Then, add in flour, black cocoa powder, Oreo crumbs, light brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and sea salt. Beat until a thick batter is formed.
- Add batter to a piping bag or Ziplock bag. If using a Ziplock bag, gently snip off one corner.
- Pipe batter into the greased donut pan. Fill cavities only halfway.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Remove donuts from oven. Once donuts have cooled completely, make frosting.
- For the frosting, add melted butter, milk and powdered sugar to a small mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
- Spread frosting over tops of cooled donuts. Garnish with chopped Oreos if desired.
