Oven Baked Pork Chops
These Oven Baked Pork Chops are a welcome addition to the weeknight dinner rotation! They’re pan seared until golden brown and baked to juicy perfection, and they’re ready in about 20 minutes! They include the warm flavors of cumin and coriander, which are balanced out with the pungency of garlic powder and rosemary.

Ingredients
Instructions
- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Step 2
Combine the cumin, coriander, garlic powder, chopped rosemary and 1 tablespoon of the olive oil in a small bowl. Rub the mixture on all sides of the pork chops.
- Step 3
Heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a cast iron skillet or oven proof sauté pan over medium high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for 2 minutes on each side, or until a nice golden brown crust has formed. Remove from heat.
- Step 4
Place the skillet into the oven and bake for 8-15 minutes, or until an internal thermometer into the thickest part of the pork chop registers 145 degrees. Cooking temperature will vary based on the thickness of your pork chops!
- Step 5
Remove from heat, cover loosely with foil and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
