Tips & Tricks (5)

  • Brussels Sprout Prep Perfection 🔪
Always trim the stem end and halve the Brussels sprouts to maximize caramelization and ensure even cooking. This technique creates more surface area for the delicious honey-balsamic marinade to adhere to.
  • Moisture Elimination Technique 💨
Pat the Brussels sprouts completely dry with paper towels before roasting to guarantee crispy edges and prevent steaming. Excess moisture is the enemy of that perfect golden-brown caramelization.
  • Breadcrumb Crunch Hack 🥣
Toast your breadcrumbs separately in a dry pan before adding to the final dish to enhance their nutty flavor and ensure maximum crispiness. This extra step transforms ordinary breadcrumbs into a gourmet topping.
  • Marinade Marinating Magic ⏰
Allow the Brussels sprouts to marinate for at least 15-20 minutes before roasting to deeply infuse the honey-balsamic-mustard flavors. For best results, let them sit at room temperature during this time.
  • Roasting Rack Revolution 🔥
Use a wire rack on your baking sheet to elevate the Brussels sprouts, allowing hot air to circulate completely and create uniformly crispy edges on all sides of the vegetables.
