Ingredients
- 4 - bone-in pork chops
- 1 tsp - salt
- ½ tsp - black pepper
- 1 oz - panko bread crumbs
- 1 ½ ounces - grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp - garlic powder
- black pepper
- 2 tablespoons - salted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and black pepper.
- Place the panko, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, and black pepper in a medium mixing bowl. Stir with a fork to combine. Pour in the melted butter, and stir until the crumbs are thoroughly moistened.
- Divide an equal amount of the Parmesan mixture over each pork chop. Using clean hands or a spoon, pat the mixture into an even layer, covering the surface of each pork chop.
- Bake the pork chops on middle rack of oven until the crust is golden and the meat reaches an internal temperature of 140°F, 25-30 minutes.
- Check to see that pork chops are done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
- Allow the pork chops to rest for 3 minutes on the baking sheet. Plate and serve immediately.
