Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray or butter. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.

Add peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix until well combined.

Stir in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth.

Fold the chocolate chips into the batter with a spatula until evenly distributed.

Scoop the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread out evenly edge to edge.

Bake at 350ºF for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow cookie bars to cool for 10 minutes. Cut into 24 even squares and top each bar with a Hershey's Kiss.
