Tips & Tricks (5)

  • Pre-Toast Your Crust 🔥
Lightly brush pizza dough with butter and toast it for 2-3 minutes before adding fillings to create a golden, crispy exterior that prevents sogginess.
  • Dry Your Pepperoni 🧻
Pat pepperoni slices with paper towels to remove excess grease, which prevents the roll-ups from becoming overly oily and helps the cheese melt evenly.
  • Cheese Layer Strategy 🧀
Create a thin layer of mozzarella on the dough before adding pepperoni and sauce—this acts as a moisture barrier and helps bind all ingredients together.
  • Tight Rolling Technique 🌯
Roll the dough tightly and pinch the seam firmly, then place seam-side down on the baking sheet to prevent the roll-ups from unraveling during baking.
  • Rest Before Baking ⏱️
Let assembled roll-ups rest for 10 minutes at room temperature before baking to allow the dough to relax and rise slightly, resulting in a lighter, fluffier texture.
