  • ½ pound - bowtie pasta
  •   - Salt
  • 2  - chicken breasts
  •   - Salt
  •   - Black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon - paprika
  • ½ teaspoon - dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon - garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon - onion powder
  • 2 tablespoon - butter
  •  Dash - olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon - butter
  • 3 cloves - garlic
  • 4 ounce - bone broth
  • ¾ cup - heavy cream
  • ½ cup - pesto
  • ¾ cup - Parmesan cheese
  •   - Reserved pasta water

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, basil, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter with a dash of olive oil. Add chicken and cook 5–7 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove from pan and set aside.
  4. Add another 2 tbsp butter to the skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Pour in bone broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, then add the same seasoning mix used for the chicken.
  7. Add pesto and mix well until sauce is smooth.
  8. Add cooked pasta, cooked chicken, and a splash of reserved pasta water. Let cook together for a few minutes.
  9. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and fully combined.
  10. Top with extra cheese and serve hot.
