  • ½ pound - pasta
  • 4 tablespoon - unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon - olive oil
  • 2 cloves - garlic
  • ¾ cup - pesto
  • 1 ½ cup - heavy cream
  •   - Salt
  •   - Black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon - garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon - onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon - paprika
  • 1 cup - cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup - mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup - Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup - reserved pasta water

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in pesto and cook for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  5. Add cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses. Stir until melted and sauce is creamy.
  6. Add cooked pasta and mix to coat. Add pasta water a splash at a time until sauce reaches desired consistency.
  7. Serve hot, topped with extra Parmesan.
