Tips & Tricks (5)

  • Pre-Cook Your Vegetables 🧅
Sauté the onions and bell peppers separately before mixing with the steak to ensure they're perfectly tender and flavorful, preventing watery shells and uneven texture in the filling.
  • Undercook the Shells Slightly 🍝
Cook your pasta shells 1-2 minutes under the package directions so they maintain structure when stuffed and baked, preventing mushy, falling-apart shells.
  • Toast Your Steak with Worcestershire 🥩
Add Worcestershire sauce directly to the pan while searing the shaved steak to create a caramelized crust that builds deep, authentic Philly flavor into every bite.
  • Cheese Mixture Temperature Trick 🧀
Let your Alfredo sauce cool slightly before mixing with the filling to prevent the cheeses from over-melting and becoming greasy; aim for warm, not hot.
  • Brown Butter for Richness 🧈
Brown your butter before combining with the garlic and other ingredients to add a nutty, restaurant-quality depth that elevates the entire dish above standard versions.
