Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups - Water
  • ½ cup - White Sugar
  • 5 cups - Pineapple
  • ½ cup - Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Combine 1/2 cup water and sugar in a saucepan and set over high heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce to medium-low and simmer until reduced by half. Remove from heat and cool.
  2. Meanwhile, place cut up pineapple in a blender and puree until smooth.
  3. Place pureed pineapple in a pitcher.
  4. Add the sugar-water syrup into the pitcher, followed by the lemon juice and the remaining 3 cups water.
  5. Taste and adjust to personal preferences.
  6. Serve over ice with a pineapple wedge garnish.
