Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons - Oil
- 4 - Pork Chops
- 1 tsp - Chili Powder
- ¼ tsp - Salt and Pepper
- 13 ½ ounces - Pineapple Tidbits
- 2 tablespoons - Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp - Garlic
- 2 tablespoons - Soy Sauce
Instructions
- Place oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Season the pork chops with the chili powder, salt and pepper, then add to the hot oil.
- Cook the pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden and the pork chops release easily from the pan.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the pineapple tidbits, brown sugar, garlic and soy sauce.
- Add the pineapple mixture to the pan and increase heat to medium-high until sauce begins to simmer.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and cover with a lid. Continue cooking for about 10 minutes until the liquid is thickened to your liking and reduced by at least half.
- Serve the pineapple pork chops topped with the pan sauce.
