Instructions
1
|
For the cream, separate the eggs, use the egg whites for something else, and put the egg yolks in a bowl with quark, powdered sugar and pistachio butter and mix with a hand mixer until you have a smooth cream.
2
|
Add the mascarpone and briefly mix it with the cream until all the ingredients are combined. (Caution: Mascarpone should not be stirred for too long, otherwise it will become runny).
3
|
Pour espresso and Baileys into a shallow bowl or deep plate. Dip the ladyfingers in the mixture on both sides and then arrange them side by side in the baking dish.
4
|
Spread about half of the mascarpone cream over the cookies and smooth it out. Soak the remaining ladyfingers in coffee and arrange them side by side on top of the cream.
5
|
Spread the remaining mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers and smooth it out, or fill it into a piping bag with a large nozzle and pipe it in large dots over the entire surface until it is covered.
6
|
Cover the tiramisu with cling film and refrigerate for at least 6 hours. Before serving, sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the surface and enjoy chilled.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Mascarpone Mixing Magic 🥣Bring mascarpone and quark to room temperature before mixing to ensure a smooth, lump-free cream that incorporates perfectly with minimal stirring.
- Espresso Soaking Technique 💧Briefly dip ladyfingers in espresso (3-4 seconds max) to prevent them from becoming too soggy, ensuring a delicate texture that holds its shape.
- Pistachio Layering Pro 🥜Finely chop pistachios and reserve some whole nuts for garnishing - this adds both visual appeal and textural contrast to your tiramisu.
- Chill for Perfection 🧊Allow the tiramisu to rest in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours (preferably overnight) to let flavors meld and develop a rich, cohesive taste.
- Baileys Balance 🥃If using Baileys, start with a small amount and taste-test to avoid overwhelming the delicate pistachio and mascarpone flavors.
