Tips & Tricks (5)
- Chill Your Meat Mixture 🧊Refrigerate your ground pork mixture for at least 30 minutes before forming patties to prevent them from falling apart during cooking and ensure better texture.
- Create a Thumb Indent 👍Press a shallow thumb indent into the center of each patty before cooking to prevent it from puffing up and ensure even, flat cooking throughout.
- Toast Your Brioche Buns 🔆Lightly butter and toast your brioche buns on the griddle or skillet until golden brown to prevent sogginess and add rich, nutty flavor that complements the smoky pork.
- Don't Overmix the Patty 🙅Mix the ground pork, seasonings, and aromatics gently until just combined—overworking develops gluten and creates dense, tough burgers instead of tender ones.
- Reach the Perfect Temperature ✅Cook pork burgers to an internal temperature of 160°F for food safety while maintaining juiciness; use a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part for accuracy.
