Ingredients
- 2 sheets - Puff Pastry
- ¾ cup - Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
- 1 tbsp - Powdered Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place a sheet of parchment paper on a work surface. Unravel a puff pastry sheet and place on top. Spread on the chocolate spread all the way to the edges and corners. Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top and lightly press together.
- Use a pizza cutter to cut into 1-inch strips, parallel to the shorter edges of the puff pastry. Place in the fridge for 20-30 minutes to firm up.
- Once chilled, use your hands to fold each strip accordion style, starting wide at the bottom to narrow at the top. Save one strip for the stars. Carefully place the folded trees onto the prepared baking sheet and poke skewers through the centers, sticking out the top a little, where the stars will go.
- With the remaining puff pastry strip, use a small star cookie cutter to cut out stars. Gently press onto the top of the skewers on the smaller ends of the trees.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until lightly golden brown and puffy.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm. Enjoy!
