Tips & Tricks (5)

  • Perfect Cereal Coating 🥣
Toast the puffed wheat cereal briefly in a dry pan to enhance its nutty flavor and improve its ability to absorb the chocolate mixture.
  • Chocolate Mixture Magic 🍫
Use a candy thermometer when heating the corn syrup and brown sugar to ensure you reach the perfect sticky consistency without burning.
  • Nest Shaping Technique 🐣
Use lightly greased silicone muffin cups or a well-greased muffin tin to create perfectly shaped and easily removable nests.
  • Mini Egg Placement Pro 🥚
Allow the chocolate-coated nests to cool for 5-10 minutes before adding mini eggs to prevent the chocolate from melting the candy coating.
  • Storage Secret 🧊
Store the finished nests in an airtight container with parchment paper between layers to prevent sticking and maintain their crisp texture.
