Tips & Tricks (5)
- Perfect Cereal Coating 🥣Toast the puffed wheat cereal briefly in a dry pan to enhance its nutty flavor and improve its ability to absorb the chocolate mixture.
- Chocolate Mixture Magic 🍫Use a candy thermometer when heating the corn syrup and brown sugar to ensure you reach the perfect sticky consistency without burning.
- Nest Shaping Technique 🐣Use lightly greased silicone muffin cups or a well-greased muffin tin to create perfectly shaped and easily removable nests.
- Mini Egg Placement Pro 🥚Allow the chocolate-coated nests to cool for 5-10 minutes before adding mini eggs to prevent the chocolate from melting the candy coating.
- Storage Secret 🧊Store the finished nests in an airtight container with parchment paper between layers to prevent sticking and maintain their crisp texture.
