Tips & Tricks (5)
- Brown Your Butter First 🧈Toast the butter over medium heat until golden and nutty before adding marshmallows to deepen the pumpkin spice flavor and prevent a flat, one-dimensional taste.
- Bloom Your Spices in Butter 🎃Mix pumpkin pie spice directly into the melted butter for 30 seconds before adding marshmallows to unlock aromatic compounds and distribute spices evenly throughout the treats.
- Use Cream Cheese in Pumpkin Puree 🧀Mix 2-3 tablespoons of softened cream cheese into your pumpkin puree before combining with marshmallows to eliminate excess moisture and create a richer, more authentic pumpkin flavor.
- Fold Gently at the End 🤲Add Rice Krispies as the final ingredient using a spatula with gentle folding motions rather than stirring to maintain maximum crispness and prevent the cereal from breaking down.
- Toast White Chocolate Chips First ✨Lightly toast white chocolate chips in a dry skillet for 2-3 minutes before adding to the mixture to enhance their depth and reduce any waxy undertones for premium flavor.
