Ingredients

  • 1 cup - fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 teaspoons - dried oregano
  • 3 cloves - garlic
  • 2 tablespoons - red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • ½ cup - olive oil
  • ½ tsp - red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp - kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp - black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, add chopped parsley, dried oregano and garlic.
  2. Stir in red wine vinegar and lemon juice. Season with red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
  3. Pour in olive oil and whisk together with a fork. Let rest on the counter for at least 10 to 15 minutes to allow the flavors to come together.
  4. Store leftovers in a jar with tight-fitting lid in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Let come back to room temperature before using leftover chimichurri.
