Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups - Wild rice
  • 2 ¼ cups - Chicken broth
  • 1 tsp - Poultry seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons - butter
  • 1 lb - Sausage
  • 1 - Onion
  • 2 stalks - Celery
  • 16 ounces - Mushrooms
  • 1 tsp - All purpose seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons - Garlic
  • ¼ cup - Dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice in the broth and 1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning.
  2. In a skillet cook the onion, celery, and mushrooms in butter until tender.
  3. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. Add the sausage to the skillet and cook until done, making sure it is thoroughly crumbled.
  5. Mix the rice, sausage, and veggies together.
  6. Add in the seasonings and dry cranberries, stirring until well combined.
