Instructions
1
Mix together the aioli ingredients in a small bowl. In another bowl, combine the ground beef, 2 tablespoons of the BBQ aioli and steak seasoning. Using your hand, mix until the ingredients are combined, being careful not to over-mix the meat. Shape into four patties.
2
Grill burgers over medium heat for 5-7 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Place a slice of cheese on top of each patty. Cover and cook 1-2 minutes longer or until cheese has melted.
3
Spread remaining BBQ aioli on each side of the buns; add the prepared burger patty and top with 3 prepared onion rings any other toppings you like.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Toast Your Buns for Texture 🍞Lightly butter and toast the hamburger buns on a griddle or skillet until golden brown to prevent sogginess and add a subtle crunch that complements the juicy patty.
- Double-Sear Technique for Crust 🔥Form your patties and sear them on high heat for 2-3 minutes per side without pressing down, then reduce heat to finish cooking gently for a caramelized crust with a juicy interior.
- Warm Your BBQ Sauce Separately 🍯Heat your barbecue sauce gently in a small saucepan while the burger cooks, allowing it to caramelize slightly and intensify in flavor without burning when applied to the hot patty.
- Layer Strategically for Balance ⚖️Place cheese directly on the hot patty to melt, then layer in order: bun, mayo, patty, bacon, onion rings, and BBQ sauce—this prevents the bun from getting soggy and ensures every bite has balanced flavors.
- Use Freshly Fried Onion Rings 🧅Make your onion rings just before assembly or keep them warm in a 200°F oven to maintain their crispy texture, as they lose their satisfying crunch within minutes of frying.
