Ingredients
- ½ lb - pasta
- 2 - boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp - olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- ½ tsp - onion powder
- ½ tsp - garlic powder
- ½ tsp - dried basil
- ¼ tsp - paprika
- 6 tablespoons - unsalted butter
- 4 cloves - garlic
- 2 cups - heavy cream
- 1 cup - grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup - reserved pasta water
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, basil, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for about 4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Season with the same seasoning blend used on the chicken.
- Add cooked pasta, reserved pasta water, chicken, and Parmesan. Toss until creamy and well coated.
- Add more Parmesan if desired and serve immediately.
