Tips & Tricks (5)
- Lemonade Concentrate Hack 🍋Use slightly thawed lemonade concentrate for a more intense flavor that distributes more evenly throughout the sauce.
- Chicken Prep Pro Tip 🔪Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels before seasoning to help the lemon pepper seasoning stick and create a more flavorful crust.
- Sauce Thickness Secret 🥄Mix cornstarch with a small amount of cold water before adding to the slow cooker to prevent lumps and ensure a perfectly smooth sauce consistency.
- Flavor Layering Technique 🌶️Toast the red pepper flakes in a dry pan for 30 seconds before adding to the recipe to unlock their deeper, more complex flavor profile.
- Zest Maximization Method 🍃Use a microplane grater for the lemon zest to get fine, fragrant zest that distributes more evenly and releases maximum citrus oils.
