Instructions
1
|
Grease a loaf pan with butter or baking spray. Line the pan with parchment paper and set aside for later.
2
|
Then, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly, just until they're melted and well-combined with the butter. Stir in the salt and vanilla extract.
3
|
Remove the pan from the heat and add the Fruity Pebbles cereal. Stir gently, but quickly, until everything is well-combined. Then, fold another 1-2 handfuls of mini marshmallows into the mixture if you want extra gooey bars.
4
|
Using a greased rubber spatula, gently press the mixture evenly into the prepared loaf pan. Let the bars set at room temperature or in the fridge for 30-60 minutes. Use the parchment paper to remove the treats from the pan. Slice into 6-8 bars and enjoy!

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Butter Temperature Control 🧈Melt butter over medium heat and let it cool for 1-2 minutes before adding marshmallows to prevent them from deflating or browning unevenly.
- Don't Overmix the Cereal 🥣Fold in the Fruity Pebbles gently with a spatula at the end to maintain crunchiness and prevent the pieces from breaking into dust.
- Grease Your Pan Generously 🤲Use clarified butter or cooking spray on both the pan and your spatula to prevent sticking and make removal of the treats effortless.
- Press Firmly While Warm ⏱️Compress the mixture into the pan immediately while still warm using even pressure to create uniform bars that hold together perfectly when cooled.
- Vanilla Extract Placement 🌾Add vanilla extract directly to the melted butter mixture before the marshmallows to ensure even distribution of flavor throughout all bars.
