Instructions
1
First, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2
Place chocolate chips in an oven proof skillet. My skillet is 8 inches wide.
3
Then, arrange marshmallows on top. You may need more or fewer marshmallows to completely cover the chocolate chips.
4
Bake for 5 to 6 minutes or until marshmallows have puffed up and become golden. For extra crispy marshmallows, broil for 1 to 2 minutes.
5
Finally, remove from oven. Serve hot with graham crackers, pretzels or fruit!

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Use Quality Chocolate Chips 🍫Opt for premium chocolate chips or chopped chocolate bars (like Hershey's) instead of low-quality chips to achieve a richer, more authentic s'mores flavor and smoother melting texture.
- Layer Strategy for Even Melting ⚖️Arrange chocolate chips on the bottom of your baking dish and marshmallows on top, allowing the heat to melt the chocolate first while the marshmallows toast and puff up evenly.
- Monitor the Broiler Closely ⏱️Watch your dip constantly under the broiler as marshmallows toast quickly and can burn in seconds—aim for golden-brown tops with just a slight char for that authentic campfire flavor.
- Pre-Warm Your Serving Dish 🍲Use a cast-iron skillet or ceramic dish that retains heat, keeping your dip warm and gooey throughout serving rather than cooling quickly in a cold vessel.
- Create a Dipper Station 🥨Prepare an assortment of dippers beforehand including graham crackers, fresh fruit (strawberries, bananas), pretzels, and cookies so guests can enjoy immediately without waiting.
