Snickerdoodle Smoothie

Snickerdoodle Smoothie

I make this smoothie year round it’s that good. This snickerdoodle smoothie is made with healthy ingredients, has no banana, has hidden veggies, and is packed with protein! It’s sweetened with dates and flavored with tahini and the perfect touch of spices. It's also very creamy and makes a great balanced breakfast that tastes like dessert. This will be your new go-to smoothie this holiday season!

Ingredients

  • 2 - Medjool Dates
  • ¾ cup - Soy Milk, or milk of choice
  • ¾ cup - Cauliflower Rice
  • 17 grams - Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 2 tablespoons - Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 tbsp - Tahini, sub almond or cashew butter
  • 1 tbsp - Flaxseed Meal
  • ½ tsp - Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ tsp - Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch - Cardamom Seed
  • 1 pinch - Nutmeg
  • 1 pinch - Salt

Instructions

  1. First soak your dates in a small bowl of hot water for about 5 minutes. This will help them soften up so they can blend more easily. While the dates are soaking you can get all the other ingredients measured out and ready.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until very smooth, adding more milk to thin if necessary. Taste and add more spices if desired. Pour into a glass and enjoy! This recipe serves 1, but feel free to double the recipe to serve 2.
