Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
2
Next, line two baking sheets with either parchment paper or silicone mats.
3
Follow the directions on the packet of sugar cookie mix to prepare the dough.
4
Place the dried strawberries in a blender or food processor and blitz until you have a powdery mix, then place aside in a small bowl.
5
Using a cookie scoop, portion out the sugar cookies and then roll them in the bowl of strawberry powder.
6
Place the strawberry coated sugar cookies on the prepared baking sheets at least 2 inches apart from each other.
7
Bake the sugar cookies according to the package's instructions.
Frosting
1
If the cookies are to be frosted, put all icing ingredients in a bowl and beat them for 2 minutes. If the consistency of the icing needs to be adjusted, add more sugar or cream, as needed.
2
Once you have let the cookies cool, you can use vanilla-flavored frosting and sprinkle with the remainder of the strawberry powder as desired.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pulse Dehydrated Strawberries for Optimal Crunch 🍓Pulse dehydrated strawberries in a food processor until they're broken into small, varied-sized pieces—this creates pockets of crunch throughout the cookie rather than large chewy chunks.
- Chill Dough Before Baking for Better Structure 🧊Refrigerate your dough for 15 minutes before baking to prevent spreading and help the cookies maintain their shape while achieving that perfect chewy-crispy texture.
- Underbake Slightly for Maximum Chewiness 🍪Remove cookies from the oven when the edges are set but the centers still look slightly underdone—they'll continue cooking on the baking sheet and develop the ideal chewy interior.
- Bloom Vanilla Extract with Warm Butter 🧈Mix vanilla extract into slightly warmed melted butter before combining with other wet ingredients to enhance and distribute the vanilla flavor more evenly throughout the dough.
- Sift Icing Sugar for Silky Frosting 🍧Always sift icing sugar before mixing into your cream or milk frosting to eliminate lumps and create a smooth, lump-free glaze that adheres beautifully to the baked cookies.
