Ingredients
- ½ cup - granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons - Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons - Mascarpone cheese
- 8 slices - Bread
- Strawberries
- 3 - Eggs
- ¼ cup - Milk
- 2 teaspoons - Vanilla
- 1 tbsp - Granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons - Cinnamon
- 1 tsp - Nutmeg
Instructions
- Whisk together the batter in a bowl and set aside.
- Cut the crusts off the bread. Flatten the bread with a rolling pin.
- Lightly spread mascarpone cheese on one piece of bread. Layer sliced strawberries on the bread and roll up the piece of bread. Pinch together the ends.
- Dip in french toast batter.
- Continue with all of the roll ups. Melt butter in a hot skillet or griddle and cook until golden brown on all sides.
