Ingredients
- 3 ½ ounces - Sugar cookies
- 4 ounces - Cream Cheese
- 1 cup - Funfetti Candy Melts
- Funfetti Sprinkles
- 1 tbsp - Shortening
Instructions
- Grease two cookie sheets and set aside.
- Place the sugar cookies and cream cheese in a food processor and combine until a dough forms.
- Use a cookie scoop to portion out the dough into 1 Tablespoon-sized scoops.
- Roll each scoop into a firm ball.
- Place the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 25 seconds, stir, and reheat as needed.
- If the candy melts are too stiff despite being properly melted, stir in the optional shortening.
- Dip each sugar cookie ball in the melted candy coating and allow the excess candy to drip off.
- Place each dipped sugar cookie truffle on the prepared cookie sheets.
- Scoop the remaining candy melts into a piping bag. Make a small snip at the bottom and drizzle over the truffles.
- Add sprinkles while the candy coating is still wet.
- Allow candy coating to set fully before storing or serving, about 1 hour.
