These SunButter Protein Bars are naturally sweet, satisfying, and packed with plant-based protein. Made with creamy sunflower seed butter, they’re nut-free, rich in texture, and so easy to put together—no baking required!     In a large bowl, combine SunButter, protein powder, maple syrup, and salt. Mix until a thick dough texture is formed.

  2. Step 2

    Press the mixture into an 8x4-inch loaf pan lined with parchment paper.

  3. Step 3

    To make the chocolate layer, add chocolate chips and coconut oil to a small microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted. Pour the melted chocolate over the SunButter layer and spread evenly. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.

  4. Step 4

    Place in the fridge for 1 hour before slicing into 8 bars or squares. Enjoy!
