Super Simple Snow Cream Recipe You Can Make in Minutes

If you woke up to fresh snow outside, this is your sign to make Snow Cream! This old-fashioned winter treat is something I only make about once a year, which somehow makes it even more fun. All you need are a few pantry staples, a bowl of clean snow, and about five minutes!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup - sugar
  • 1 cup - milk or cream
  • 1 pinch - salt
  • heaping tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp - vanilla extract
  • 6 cups - snow

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients, minus the snow, and mix until combined.
  2. Add in the snow 1 cup at a time continuing to stir. Add the next cup once the previous cup has been fully incorporated. Continue until all of the snow is mixed in.
  3. Compress the snow cream down into the bowl and scoop it out like you would normal ice cream. Serve with your favorite ice cream fixin's and ENJOY!
  4. Storage – Snow cream is best eaten immediately. It melts quickly and does not store well in the fridge or freezer.
