
Sweet and Sour Glazed Chicken Breasts

Ingredients
- 1 tsp - garlic powder
- 2 pounds - boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup - low sodium chicken broth
- ¼ cup - reduced-sodium soy sauce
- ½ tsp - ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons - cornstarch
- 4 teaspoons - honey
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Pour the chicken broth into a medium baking dish. Arrange the chicken breasts in the baking dish.
- Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, ground ginger, garlic powder, and cornstarch in a small bowl.
- Bake the chicken on middle rack of oven for 10 minutes.
- Open the oven, and carefully pour the honey-soy mixture evenly oven the chicken breasts. Continue baking until the thickest part of the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165°F, about 10 minutes.
- Check to see that chicken is done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
- Spoon the sauce from the bottom of the pan over the chicken breasts. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
