Cook the Beef
1
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add ground beef and brown slightly. Stir in tomato paste and diced bell pepper. Cook 4–5 minutes until beef is fully cooked. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Assemble the Wraps
1
Lay a large tortilla on a flat surface. Place 1/3 of the beef mixture in the center. Add 6 Doritos on top (more for extra crunch). Spread cream cheese over the filling. Add shredded lettuce and diced tomato. Top with 2 slices of processed cheese.
Seal the Wraps
1
Place a small round tortilla on top of the filling. Fold the edges of the large tortilla inward around the filling. Tip: Lightly brush the edges of the small tortilla with water to help seal the wrap.
Cook the Crunchwrap
1
Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat (or use a tiny bit of oil). Cook each side for about 3 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Crush Doritos Strategically 🔨Pulse Doritos in a food processor to varied sizes—some fine powder for binding, some larger pieces for crunch—rather than crushing uniformly for better texture contrast.
- Seal the Tortilla Edges 🔥Pan-fry the assembled wrap seam-side down first for 2-3 minutes to create a seal that prevents filling from escaping during cooking and achieves maximum crispness.
- Layer Cheese Strategically 🧀Place processed cheese between tortilla layers before assembling to create an adhesive barrier that holds ingredients together while creating a creamy interior pocket.
- Brown Beef with Tomato Paste First 🍅Toast the tomato paste with the ground beef for 1-2 minutes before adding water to deepen umami flavor and create a richer, less watery filling.
- Pre-Assemble and Chill 🧊Assemble wraps 30 minutes ahead and refrigerate to allow fillings to set and reduce leakage; this also makes pan-frying easier and helps maintain structural integrity.
