Ingredients

  • 1 lb - ground turkey 93% lean
  • ¼ - onion
  • 1 tbsp - Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp - mayo
  • ¼ cup - breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • Couple turns cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp - oil

Instructions

  1. Mix up the ground turkey with the onions, mayo, Worcestershire, breadcrumbs and salt and pepper until fully combined. Be careful not to overmix too much or the burgers might get a little tough.
  2. Form the turkey mixture into 4 round patties.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large frying pan set over medium heat.
  4. Place the patties in the pan and cook them for 5 to 7 minutes. Flip them over and cook for another 5 to 7 minutes on the second side. The burgers are done when the juices run clear and they measure 165°F with an instant read thermometer. If you’re adding cheese, place some on top of each patty about 2 to 3 minutes before they’re done cooking on the second side.
  5. Assemble the burgers. Spread your favorite condiments on each bun, then add the burger patties and the rest of your toppings.
