Tips & Tricks (5)
- Almond Butter Temperature Control 🌡️Use room-temperature almond butter for easier mixing and better dough consistency; cold butter can create lumpy, difficult-to-work-with dough.
- Sweetener Substitution Strategy 🍯If using agave instead of honey, reduce the liquid slightly as agave is thinner; this prevents overly soft cookies that won't hold their shape.
- Almond Flour Sifting Technique 🥜Sift your almond flour meal before mixing to remove any clumps and ensure a lighter, more delicate cookie texture with better rise.
- Whole Almond Placement Strategy ✨Press whole almonds onto cookies before baking rather than after for better adhesion, and toast them lightly beforehand to intensify their nutty flavor.
- Cooling Time Precision ⏱️Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to prevent crumbling, as vegan cookies without eggs need extra time to set properly.
