Animal style fries

For the caramelized onions

For the vegan animal sauce

  1. Step 1

    Cook fries according to package directions in the oven or air fryer. Once cooked, layer vegan cheese on top, and place back in the oven or air fryer until melted. Once fries are crispy and cheese is melted, remove from oven.

  2. Step 2

    As the fries bake, caramelize onions in a saucepan by melting dairy free butter then stirring in chopped onions. Sauté for about 5-10 minutes, add a pinch of salt and pepper, and continue to sauté until the onions are browned and caramelized to perfection. If the onions begin to burn, add extra dairy free butter or oil.

  3. Step 3

    To make the vegan animal style sauce, whisk ingredients together. Store covered in the fridge until ready to use.

  4. Step 4

    Assemble animal style fries by topping cheese fries with desired amount of grilled onions and special sauce. Enjoy immediately!
