Tips & Tricks (5)
- Tomato Roasting Perfection 🍅Use room temperature cherry tomatoes and spread them in a single layer to ensure even caramelization and prevent steaming.
- Feta Positioning Hack 🧀Place the entire block of feta in the center of the baking dish, surrounded by tomatoes, to create a natural sauce as it melts.
- Pasta Water Magic 💦Reserve at least 1 cup of starchy pasta water before draining, as it's crucial for creating a silky, emulsified sauce that clings perfectly to the pasta.
- Herb Intensity Boost 🌿Toast dried oregano and chili flakes in a dry pan for 30 seconds before adding to the dish to intensify their aromatic oils and flavor profile.
- Garlic Roasting Technique 🧄Leave garlic cloves whole and unpeeled when roasting to prevent burning and create a more mellow, caramelized garlic flavor.
