Tips & Tricks (5)
- Brown Butter Boost 🧈Brown your salted butter before mixing to add deep, nutty caramel notes that elevate the cookie flavor beyond standard recipes and create that coveted bakery taste.
- Chill Before Air-Frying ❄️Refrigerate dough for at least 30 minutes before air-frying to prevent excessive spreading and achieve thicker, chewier cookies with defined edges.
- Optimal Temperature Setting 🌡️Air-fry at 320°F for 9-11 minutes rather than higher temperatures—this slower approach ensures the edges crisp while centers stay perfectly chewy without burning.
- Chocolate Chip Distribution Strategy 🍫Reserve some chocolate chips to press gently onto the dough tops just before air-frying for melted, visually appealing chocolate clusters that match bakery-quality presentations.
- Underbake Intentionally ⏱️Remove cookies when edges appear set but centers still look slightly underdone—they'll continue cooking from residual heat and achieve that signature soft, bakery-style texture as they cool.
