Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pat Dry for Perfect Browning 🧽Pat the beef roast completely dry with paper towels before seasoning to ensure a golden, caramelized crust in the air fryer instead of steaming.
- Butter Application Timing ⏱️Add butter during the last 5 minutes of cooking rather than at the start to prevent burning and achieve a rich, nutty basting effect on the meat.
- Room Temperature Rest 🌡️Remove the roast from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to allow even heat distribution throughout the meat for consistent tenderness.
- Strategic Seasoning Layers 🧂Season the roast generously 15 minutes before cooking to allow the steak seasoning to penetrate the surface, then add a light finishing seasoning after cooking.
- Internal Temperature Precision 🎯Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part without touching bone - aim for 130-135°F for medium-rare, as the roast continues cooking while resting for 5 minutes.
