Tips & Tricks (5)
- Yogurt Temperature Optimization 🥛Use Greek yogurt at room temperature before mixing with dough to ensure even hydration and better gluten development, resulting in softer, more tender naan.
- Garlic Butter Application Timing ⏱️Brush garlic butter on the naan immediately after removing from the air fryer while it's still hot, allowing the butter to absorb into the bread for maximum flavor penetration.
- Dough Resting Secret ⏸️Let your dough rest for at least 30 minutes after kneading to allow yeast activation and gluten relaxation, which prevents shrinkage and creates a perfectly puffed naan in the air fryer.
- Air Fryer Preheating Duration 🌡️Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for a full 5 minutes before cooking naan to ensure consistent browning and that crispy exterior without drying out the inside.
- Batch Cooking Space Management 📐Avoid overcrowding by cooking naan in single layers with at least 1 inch of space between each piece, ensuring hot air circulation for even crisping and preventing steaming.
