Instructions
1
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 narrow triangles. A pizza cutter or dough scraper helps cut the dough into perfect strips.
2
Place the mini sausage on the wide side of the crescent roll and wrap the dough around. Repeat with remaining pieces.
3
Working in batches, arrange pigs in a blanket in air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving enough space for the dough to rise and expand.
4
Air fry pigs in a blanket at 300F for 9-10 minutes. They are done when the crescent tops are golden brown.
5
Continue to air fry in batches. Since the air fryer will be warm from the previous batch, you may have to reduce cook time by a minute or so.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pat Dry for Golden Crispness 🌟Pat the little smokies completely dry with paper towels before wrapping to remove surface moisture, ensuring the crescent rolls crisp up beautifully instead of steaming.
- Separate Crescent Triangles Strategically 📐Gently separate the crescent roll dough along perforations and cut larger triangles in half lengthwise for easier wrapping and more uniform, bite-sized pieces that cook evenly.
- Seal the Seam Down 🔒Always place the seam of the wrapped dough on the bottom of each piece when arranging in the air fryer basket to prevent unraveling and ensure a clean, professional presentation.
- Single Layer = Better Air Circulation 💨Arrange pigs in a single layer without overcrowding your air fryer basket to allow hot air to circulate completely around each piece, resulting in even browning and crispy edges all around.
- Quick Shake and Flip at Midpoint ⏱️Shake the basket or flip pieces halfway through cooking (around 5 minutes at 400°F) to guarantee all sides achieve uniform golden-brown color and crispness throughout.
