Tips & Tricks (5)
- Prevent Dense Meatballs with Proper Binder Ratio 🥛Soak your saltine crackers in milk for 2-3 minutes before mixing to create a light, fluffy binder that keeps turkey meatballs tender rather than dense or rubbery.
- Chill Before Air Frying for Better Shape 🧊Refrigerate your meatball mixture for at least 15 minutes before forming and cooking—this prevents them from falling apart and ensures even, consistent cooking in the air fryer.
- Toast Garlic and Onion for Deeper Flavor 🧅Finely mince your garlic and onion, then sauté them briefly in a pan before adding to the mixture to develop deeper, richer flavors that penetrate the entire meatball.
- Arrange in Single Layer and Shake Halfway 🔄Place meatballs in a single layer without crowding, then shake the basket halfway through cooking at 15 minutes to ensure all sides brown evenly and cook through uniformly.
- Bloom Dried Spices in Worcestershire Sauce 🌶️Mix your Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and all-purpose seasoning directly into the Worcestershire sauce before combining with the meat to activate and distribute flavors more effectively throughout.
