Applesauce Bread
This easy applesauce bread combines applesauce, warm spices, and chopped nuts for a moist and flavorful loaf. With simple ingredients and minimal mixing, it's a perfect treat to bake any time of year.

- Step 1
Preheat oven to 350℉.
- Step 2
Grease a 9-inch by 5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
- Step 3
Stir together the sugar, applesauce, vegetable oil, eggs, and milk in a medium mixing bowl.
- Step 4
In a medium mixing bowl, sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Step 5
Pour the applesauce mixture into the dry mixture. Stir just until blended.
- Step 6
Stir in the nuts.
- Step 7
Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
- Step 8
Bake at 350℉ for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Step 9
Cool on a wire rack.
